| One of my favorite things to do when traveling to a new
place is to check out the local restaurants. I really prefer
something that has local flavor rather than finding the chain restaurants.
In the column to the right I have listed a few of the memorable places I have enjoyed. I will add to this list as I get to eat at more places. I have also included some links to some ideas on making your own food. Eating campfire food is one of the fun parts of being outdoors. At home, I never know what to fix for dinner but my mother in law has given some interesting meal planning ideas at Meals with a message. She always invites us over to try out her meal ideas before she publishes them. And if you are wanting to stay fit and trim while traveling, I have included some diet links as well.
